If you missed the chance to see the Louis Vuitton show during Fashion Week, there is a sweet exhibit out in New York where you can get your LV fixings - the fashion house is having a pop up exhibit in Fidi from now through January 7th, 2018 where you can walk through the history of LV and see some precious vintage signature pieces from the collection from the past 200 years.

The first part of the exhibit focuses on the beginnings of Louis Vuitton's career and rise to fame - its signature trunks and bags. You get to see some antique pieces as well as the different parts and wood they used to make the trunks.

A painting of young Louis Vuitton hangs at the entrance of the exhibit.

Outside of trunks and bags, the exhibit also features garments and houseware from vintage collections, set in Instagram-worthy scenes, like the one above on a sailboat and the one below on a desert.

Every room in the exhibit has amazing set design, from a forest to a sailboat to a propeller plane to a moving train... plenty of Insta-worthy pictures to take. At the end of the exhibit, there's a mini shop where you can find travel guides from LV as well as perfume for sale. Plus everyone who goes to the exhibit gets a Louis Vuitton pin when they leave! A nice little souvenir.

Admissions is free but expect long lines especially if you go on on weekends or over the holidays. Definitely worth it though - it's a once in a life opportunity to see some historic pieces from the legendary designer.
